| Another home experiment to produce a system for which A^F<>0. Whenever you see
helical forms, think A^F <> 0. (Animated gif = 177K)
I have a similar photo of stream of water coming from a small copper tube
embedded into the side of a rock cliff in southern France. There are two
differences; first, the liquid is confined in the compliment to the domain of
the picture above, and secondly, the stream executes a parabolic arch as it
falls to the ground, but with a STEADY time independent torsion twist - no
fluctuations! |
