There are claims that affine torsion of a connection does not seem to propagate in general relativity theory. However, a solution to Maxwell's field equations given below exhibits a Beltrami (actually Trkalian) field that propagates as a characteristic wave when the classic dispersion relationship is satisfied (wave-length times frequency = c). The Topological Torsion tensor propagates in the same sense that the potentials and fields propagate.
